The Wikio Group, born from the merger between the News Portal of the same name and the advertising and blogging platform Ebuzzing in December of 2009, continues its growth through marrying today with Overblog, the European leader in blogging.
Since the beginning of 2010, Wikio has seen its strength grow significantly after taking over PromoDigital in Italy and Neotia in France,
becoming Wikio Buzz, a solution for e-reputation commercialised in the whole of Europe by Ebuzzing. Internally, the group itself has been enriched with
services such as Wikio forums, Wikio Studio, Wikio Source, Twikio, etc.
The objective of the group is to become the leader of Social Media in Europe. This ambitious project gathers together for the first time a network of blogs, a tool to promote them and a platform
to monetise them. According to Comscore, the reception of our sites reached 26, 4 million visitors in the world in July 2010.
The whole team of the Group is delighted by this news and would like to share their enthusiasm and motivation with you. Thank you to all our users, to our friends the bloggers and to everyone who
believes in this venture!
From the left to the right, Bertrand Quesada (Ebuzzing), Frédéric Montagnon (OverBlog), Julien Romanetto (OverBlog), Laurent Binard (Wikio), Pierre Chappaz (Wikio)
and Gilles Moncaubeig (OverBlog).

After E-Buzzing in December and Promodigital in March, the Wikio Group
continues its development by joining forces with Neotia, a French firm
specializing in buzz monitoring.
Created in 2005, Neotia analyses brand influence and the impact of buzz campaigns. By linking up with Wikio, Neotia will create one of the most
competitive platforms around for measuring online influence levels and reputation.
By bringing together Ebuzzing, Neotia, PromoDigital and Wikio, the group is now in a position to analyse brand
influence, survey company reputation and engage in conversation with social media: blogs, forums, social networks, Twitter and more. This combined solution for online reputation management
arising from the Neotia-Wikio fusion will be carried out under the Wikio brand.

So what could be more natural than a joining of forces with PromoDigital, a top Italian agency specialising in blogs and social media, which is teaming up with the Wikio Group.
PromoDigital, like Ebuzzing, brings together bloggers and advertisers in order to create and relay innovative advertising campaigns. They have already realised over 100 such projects in
partnership with some of the very best Italian advertising agencies. Many companies already consider PromoDigital to be the only conduit through which they can communicate with the
blogosphere and make use of the numerous opportunities that exist in social networking.
With a network of over 2000 PromoDigital ambassadors, they are the market leader in Italy and are watching their revenue streams grow rapidly. Our Italian site Wikio.it has also been extremely successful with very impressive audience figures in Italy.
This fusion will allow us to reinforce our position as Europe's number one group for social media and digital marketing.
