It's official: we're joining forces with Ebuzzing! If you read this blog, it's because
you already know Wikio... Since our launch in 2006, we've strived to deliver new tools and services for bloggers, whether it be our Top Blog rankings or our widgets and share buttons for your blogs. Not to mention traffic, as the majority of the twenty
million unique visitors we received last month across our various sites were redirected to blogs that we index. In short, our bread and butter is to help our audience get to know and
appreciate blogs...
Ebuzzing, launched in 2007, has always aimed to help bloggers generate money for their content. Ebuzzing is a site that brings together bloggers and advertisers and has already proved in France to be one of the best ways to monetize the original content on your blog. They work with advertisers to create innovative
campaigns that harness the creativity of bloggers and the efficacy of viral marketing throughout social networks. In two years in the French market they
have already done so with over 600 advertisers including ClubMed, Coca-Cola, Intel, L’Oréal,
MasterCard and Toyota.
The two companies, headed up by CEO Pierre Chappaz, were somewhat meant for each other... Ebuzzing and Wikio will now come together to offer a full service media company - generating traffic and tools for bloggers as well as helping them monetize their content with creative advertisers.
Both outfits will continue to work under their current brand names, but the various synergies and benefits are numerous... One of these being that we will soon be able to launch the Ebuzzing
service in other countries in which Wikio already has a site, including the USA.

After having shown you the Wordpress plugins for the Automatic Blogroll
widget and the Backlinks widget, here is another. This one is available
exclusively on Wordpress from version 2.8.3 onwards. It's the Backlinks Dashboard.
This plugin allows you to display an automatic blogroll that is based on the exchanges you have with other bloggers. So it will allow you to display this informaion in the dashboard of your
articles.
As with the other plugins this one is available in French, German, Italian and Spanish as well as English, and it is still in Beta testing.
Installation is the same: just simply head to the dedicated page in the Wordpress Plugin Directory and you
can take it from there. Your blog must be indexed in the Wikio database. If it is not already you can index it here.

As with the Backlinks Widget, our developers have worked hard to create
a new Wordpress plugin for the Automatic Blogroll widget, which we originally presented to you on this blog at the end of July. It allows you to display an automatically updated blogroll in your sidebar that displays the blogs that quote you the most, or those that you quote the most,
or both!
Installation is the same as with the Backlinks widget plugin: just simply head to the dedicated page in the Wordpress
These tools are available in French, German, Italian and Spanish as well as English, and are still in Beta testing. They're very simple to install and use and update themselves automatically.
To use them your blog must be indexed in the Wikio database. If it is not already you can index it here.
