There are a number of new tools we have developed at Wikio especially for blogs, such as the Backlinks
widget, which allows bloggers to display in their side bar other blogs that have referenced them.
These are now available in the form of free downloadable plugins, which are very easy to install on a Wordpress blog. You need simply go to the dedicated page in the Wordpress Plugin Directory.
These tools are available in French, German, Italian and Spanish as well as English, and are still in Beta testing. They're very simple to install and use and update themselves automatically.
To use them your blog must be indexed in the Wikio database. If it is not already you can index it here.

You might have already noticed that some new buttons recently appeared on Wikio. There are now three new services in the action bar below each article, which you can use to share your favourite
posts and news stories.
The Facebook and Twitter share options have been added to the bar, alongside the possibility to add a comment or send to a friend by email. There is also the "share" button on the right
which allows you to share the article using whichever of the other various share sites you prefer.
So there you go, now you can share your favourite articles however you want.

The series continues with the presentation of the third of our brand new widgets. Installed below your posts, it displays the tags corresponding to each article you publish. These tags come from
our semantic analysis engine, which, after indexing and analyzing every article, automatically extracts the news entities and topics that relate to it.
Here is an example:
To install it just copy the code below, not forgetting to insert your blog's URL:

Here is the second of our newest widgets - The Automatic Blogroll. It allows you to display an automatically updated blogroll in your sidebar. This blogroll will display the blogs that quote you
the most, or those that you quote the most, or both!
This tool is available in the two different types seen below. Once again, the setup is very simple:
- Copy the code below that corresponds to the blogroll you prefer
- Insert your blog’s URL in the part of the code that is in bold
- Paste this code into your sidebar or in a widget
This is the “Light” version:

To choose which blogs will appear in your Blogroll, you need simply modify the “dir” attribute in the code. This is found in between the “style” attribute and the "url" attribute:

- To display the blogs that quote you the most: dir=in
- To display the blogs that you quote the most: dir=out
- To display both: dir=both
