UK Top Blog Rankings for July

Crooked Timber retains Top Spot this month as the UK's number one blog. The Top 4, in fact, is that of last month.

A sensational drop in positions has seen Last.fm's blog drop well, well out of the Top Ten to 77th, meaning a return for The Red Ferret Journal, which creeps into 10th. The other five blogs in the Top Ten were all there in June, with a little position swapping the only changes for them - the most significant of which sees The Guardian Books Blog climb an impressive 4 places to nestle in the Top 5 for the very first time.

Elsewhere, Spittoon drops off top spot to fourth in Gastronomy allowing The Guardian's Word of Mouth to go top, and Greedy Gourmet to climb three places into 3rd. Iain Dale stays number one in Politics, and Devil's Kitchen is back up to second, while Guido Fawkes leaps 15 places to go fourth.

In Sport, EvertonBlog makes a huge jump of 47 places to go 41st, while top spot is retained by Soccer Lens, with Footie Blog climbing from fourth to second place. And in Tech, TechCrunch's slide continues as it drops to 5th. It's as you were for the Top 3 of, in order, dot.life, TechDigest and gapingvoid. A special mention must go to That Canadian Girl, who climbs an astonishing 81 places into 30th position.
